; A total of 64 fish were examined from 2/25/04 through 3/19/04, 61 of those 64 fish were examined for bacterial pathogens. 60/61 fish had Flavobacterium psychrophilum present in tissues. Incidental bacteria isolated were Pseudomonas fluorescens, Chromobacterium violaceum and Aeromonas species. Many of the fish were also heavily parasitized by a variety of organisms including: Ichthyobodo, Gyrodactylus, Chilodonella and Trichodinella. Other organisms found were Scyphidia, Hexamita and a Chloromyxum sp. from gall bladder. No viral pathogens were isolated. See attached viral examination.; ; Disease Signs: Very large numbers of dead and dying fish were observed along the shore of the reservoir with concentrations apparent at Richardson Park and Fern Ridge Shores Marina. Fish showed frayed fins, patches of descaling with hemorrhage of muscle tissue under grey skin. Hemorrhage evident at the base of fins. Many of the fish had swollen, descaled area posterior to head with hemorrhage in muscle beneath. Some fungus in patches on various body surfaces. All the dead fish that were examined and had developed gonads were female.
