; Columnaris was isolated from gill lesions of 3/3 fresh dead fish examined. 3 Lost River suckers and 1 Short nose sucker. The organism (Flexibacter columnaris) was also isolated from the kidneys of both of the Lost River suckers examined. Loss caused by Columnaris however predisposing conditions probably important contributors.; Heads saved and fork lengths recorded for all the fish examined.; Disease Signs: Fish dying in Lake Klamath . Fresh dead examined had lesions at the upper part of opercula and on associated gill lamellae.

2.SNS Female 19.75”, Eggs present, poor condition. Gills deteriorated.
3.LRS Female. 20.5” Lesion on upper part of gill and opercule.
4-6: Frozen, heads saved.
Examined 9-15-95: 21” Female, severe lesion at top of gill arch, all 4 arches affected on both sides of fish.
