Recommendations
It would be interesting to take some DO’s in the evening after the sun goes down, I would suspect they are very low. The hemorrhage into the fins is typical of fish dying from anoxia.Samples arrived in fair condition however blue ice is not recommended because the jostling of the pieces tends to pulverize the samples. Packing samples in crushed ice is preferred, fresh and unfrozen.
Sample Notes

; goldfish: too deteriorated for culture exam, stain of gills showed diverse and profuse (perverse) bacterial population.

Brown bullhead: No indication of bacterial sepicemia revealed through culture of kidney and spleen tissue. Probable environmental stress caused loss, dissolved oxygen probably falling to lethal level in evenings (4.8 ppm is low but not lethal). ; ; Disease Signs: goldfish: Deteriorated, viscera coming through body wall, gills completely autolysed. Brown bullhead had hemorrhaging into fins, gills appeared normal with no apparent lesions.
